Information We Collect
Storage Analysis may collect the following non-personal data:
- Usage data — collected automatically via Firebase Analytics (e.g., app opens, screen views).
- Crash reports — collected via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs.
The app reads your Apple TV's storage information (total capacity, used and free space) but this data is displayed locally and is never transmitted off your device.
No personal information such as your name, email, or account details is collected.
Purpose of Data Collection
- To understand how the app is used and improve the experience.
- To identify and fix crashes and technical issues.
The legal basis for processing usage and crash data is our legitimate interest in improving the app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Third-Party Services
- Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage data. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Firebase processes analytics and crash data on our behalf.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Crash reports are retained for 90 days. No personal data is stored.
Data Security
We rely on Firebase's security infrastructure for analytics and crash data. No personal data is collected or stored by the app.
